My mom has been wanting to get Soma, and after trying on Monday, she’s been really wanting it. Apparently they’re only open Thursday and Sunday, because I think now it’s officially in their soft opening. They’re short staffed, which is understandable.
Also, I did most of my order in Chinese, which I’m pretty proud of. I kind of know Soma as a Chinese establishment, after my mom interacts with them in Chinese mostly, so I felt like I should.
Today I went for the golden milk tea because I can get a large this time around instead of a regular only from the delivery. It’s also a good, refreshing milk tea drink, so I’m looking forward to having it too. At least for me, their High Mountain Tea is pretty unique, so I should take advantage of it while I’m at Soma, right?
The drink is great, tastes like the golden milk tea I know, ha! Not much else to say about it, I guess. Boba is ok, actually a little sweet, thought I’m not sure if I’m imagining it because the tea itself is a little sweet or they actually somewhat changed their boba recipe.
