Golden Milk Tea (#2) – Soma Tea & Mocktail

Heres Soma part 2, the Golden Milk Tea! Actually, we picked up our drinks on Tuesday right, and I had the Signature the day after, on Wednesday. So how come I didn’t have my other drink on the day right after? Well, my booster shot on Wednesday kind of really knocked me out on Thursday, as I had a major headache the whole day. Now I’m enjoying my drink (almost) booster symptoms free.

What’s kind of funny this time around was that since the Golden only comes in small for whatever reason, they used their regular plastic cup instead of the small paper cup this time. This actually works out kind of great for multiple reasons, because they actually fill the plastic cup to the brim with drink, you can actually see the boba once I put it in, and I don’t have to worry about having a no lid drink. Why? Because the extra lids we get from 7 leaves actually became useful this time, so that’s real nice.

Anyway, it’s a real nice refreshing drink. A combination of a light, aromatic tea flavor and the flavor milk well balanced as a milk tea.

My mom was pretty disappointed by how not unique their boba was this time around, so she added honey herself to her boba and said it improved it a little, and added some to mine. I do taste a little smokiness of the honey, so I guess it does ass something, but really, we shouldn’t have to do the work right?
