Tonight, my roomies and I went out with one of my roomie’s friends to an escape room. It was a really fun experience, albeit a little freaky, but great nonetheless. The people were really nice, and the best part was that we escaped, with a little time to spare too. And since we went out, afterwards, we just kind of needed a celebratory boba, you know? 🙂 Not many places are open too late, but one of the ones that are is Tea Station, and I do kinda miss Tea Station, so there we go.
My go to drink at Tea Station has been the Milk Slush ever since my mom started getting it, and I always copied her order since she used to order for me. I’m a little sad their prices have gone up quite a bit, but I still went for it. Plus, it’s kinda late at night, so a non caffeinated drink is also a good choice. I’m also kind of sweaty and hot from the escape room (anxiety? Haha) so that’s good too. Now, I’m usually not a caramel person, and I’m not sure if it’s a nostalgia thing, but the caramel flavor is just better in this drink, you know?
Oh my gosh, it’s so nostalgic. The drink is very refreshing, as a slush should be, and just very light tasting, because it’s just milk…the caramel flavor is apparent, so they didn’t skimp on the syrup I guess, and the boba is very soft, chewy, and sweet, probably because it’s coated in the caramel.
