Jasmine Green Milk Tea – Oo Tea

Today my roommates and I went to a new Italian place today I found on yelp that wasn’t super expensive. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the food I got today, and I would definitely come back, especially for how good it was for the price! Afterwards, we went to the 99 Ranch on Claremont for groceries, and obviously one perk of this 99 is that it has Oo Tea.

I actually had a post about the Black Tea Macchiato ready, since last time I thought I would go to UTC and be able to get Wushiland…so theoretically today I would try it out. But I was kind of craving their green milk tea, so I listened to my body/cravings instead. 🙂 I also figured since it’s a little later a night, a majority black tea drink may not be a good idea? But that hasn’t stopped me from getting black milk tea drinks on past Friday nights…Plus, I probably have plenty of chances to go back and try it anyway.

The drink is pretty nice! I feel like I’ve had this milk tea with a stronger green tea flavor before? Though I’m not sure if I was over expecting green tea flavor. At least I still get some of the green tea fragrance, apart from its fresh milk counterpart. Even for a premixed drink, it’s a better balance between the tea flavor and the creaminess of the drink, and not too thick! I left the drink sitting for a bit while we got groceries, so the boba was a little on the harder side, so that may have been on me, but overall, lots of boba so I can’t complain.

I had a free drink today with my rewards points! Maybe I should have gotten the more expensive macchiato…oh well.
