Yogurt Green Tea – Wushiland Boba

We’re getting our weekly Wushiland orders in this week, and pretty proactive on ordering it this time around, too. I have a test in one of my classes today, so this is a nice pre-class energy treat while also being boba for breakfast again. As always, saved from yesterday.

As you could tell from the title, I got the Yogurt Green Tea today. I normally wouldn’t go for a yogurt drinks, because at most places it’s just Yakult, the Asian yogurt drink, mixed in to whatever the base is, but after exhausting the milk tea section of the menu I figured I’d try something else new. Besides, my friend sometimes gets this from Wushiland, so it has to have an audience, right? You could also think of it as a spin on a Green Milk Tea, because Yogurt is a milk product I guess. So Green Tea with a bit of that Yogurt-y tang. Isn’t yogurt supposed to be good for you because it has probiotics?

Since I did leave it overnight, I guess the yogurt and the tea separated, so do they just not mix well? Even as I let it sit, it starts to want to separate as well…Also, my dad accidentally(?) threw out the lids, so after puncturing the lid to put the boba in, no lid in the second picture. Thanks dad. It’s not particularly a nuisance, you just gotta be carful when you hold it.

After I stirred it, the drink really just smelled like Yakult. As for the actual taste, it’s like Yakult, but with a slight, very slight, bitter tea taste to it. Interesting drink, but mostly Yakult I guess. Would I elect to get this again over other drinks? No. Do I hate it? No.

Boba is amazing today though!
