Our pink boba delivery place A+ is back, with more drinks and more snacks. As with most boba delivery nowadays, since the boba comes separate and I can warm it up separately, I saved this from yesterday to drink today. It’ll be a nice energy booster for my afternoon work session, and then hopefully I can be productive on some homework in the evening. I don’t have classes on Monday again this quarter, so theoretically I should feel like I have a three day weekend every week, but it still feels a little weird to start the week off with no class. Plus, since I’m working on Mondays and Sundays, I feel like my weekends have been cut a little short, but oh well…
This time, I’m trying their Green Milk Tea since I had their “special” black milk tea last time. I’m hoping that even though it’s a standard flavor, my experience will be better than last time. (A) Plus, I’m also trying to see how their tea quality is across different tea flavors, too. There’s still quite a bit of the milk tea section of the menu to explore after all.
This time I was smarter because I sipped some of the drink before putting the boba in. Some of the other boba delivery places will give you less drink to leave room for the boba, which at first looks like you miss out but is actually pretty considerate in my opinion. A+ doesn’t though, so not all of the boba is going to fit. Last time, I had a little bit of spillage…So upon first sip, I thought it was a pretty good green milk tea. It’s definitely aromatic and has a light green tea flavor to it, which is really nice. Once I had more, it did feel just a little watered down to me, so maybe it’s the milk they use, but for those who aren’t a fan of super creamy milk teas, I’d recommend it. I did like it a lot better than last time’s, and having a sip of my mom’s Assam again, I do think that their Assam is better than the signature black milk tea. Boba is great (having microwaved it fresh), soft and chewy, and I’m going to just have to accept that pink boba is their specialty I guess.
