Today I got my first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine today with both of my parents. Yay. I may dread and hate needles and shots, but in the bigger picture it’s all for both my benefit and society’s benefit I guess. On the bright side, it’s a nice occasion to go and try Sharetea, which is close to where I got my vaccine and not somewhere I’d normally go. I’ve been meaning to try them out for a while, so here we are. (My dad thought it was pronounced Shahr-ay tea when he saw it…)
My mom’s been more into the fresh milk thing recently because she thinks it’s better for her and doesn’t give her negative reactions, so today I went along with that and also decided to give their fresh milk a go. However, she got a black tea, but I decided to get the oolong tea version because I’ve read some reviews on Yelp that they have good oolong tea and I also felt like getting and oolong anyway for a change of pace.
I really like their Oolong! In my recent experience trying more drinks, Oolong can come in a spectrum of flavors, and Sharetea’s Oolong is on the lighter-side, flavor wise (and I guess color wise too, ha). It’s an overall well-balanced light drink, not too creamy or heavy, but also not watery. For those that don’t like heavy creamy milk teas, Sharetea looks like a good place. I also really like the amount of boba they put in the drink! I’ve seen a bunch of promotional pictures on Instagram, but after getting a drink myself, I highly appreciate it. The boba itself is a nice size, and it’s very chewy, and has a reminiscent classic yet not too artificial boba flavor. Good first impression here. 🙂
