Milk Tea – Wushiland Boba

Happy Chinese New Year Eve! Here’s to another Wushiland boba delivery! Wushiland has good boba, and delivery is pretty convenient, so we got Wushiland again yesterday. I wouldn’t be lying if I said I have been looking forward to this…Well, I’m always looking forward to boba and the next time I can have a drink, so I guess that’s not a surprise. Again, I saved it for today, since the boba came separate, as the tea that’ll (hopefully) give me energy to carry me through another long weekday. I have an oral assessment later today, a midterm going to be assigned later today over the weekend, plus the usual other load of stuff in my life. Oh, the weekend is so close yet so far…

This time, I opted for the standard Milk tea, since that’s what I usually get from Oo Tea / Wushiland. No other special reason, other than going back to the classics with a good milk tea. It’s so classic it doesn’t even have a particular name, ha! A regular black tea base milk tea. What else could you ask for?

So after getting ice time, I tried again to get no ice by putting “no ice please” in both the individual drink special instructions, and the overall order special instructions. I’m not sure if the overall order part did the trick, but regardless we didn’t get ice this time :).

The drink still tastes as good as I remember, and you can never go wrong with a regular milk tea from a place that does milk tea so well. Tastes like a quality milk tea, and not too much else to say about it. A good, slightly toasty black tea flavor with a slight creaminess. Boba is also nicely chewy, fresh from the microwave, ha! I probably didn’t microwave it as long as last time, because the cold drink didn’t turn immediately warm when I put the boba in, which is still a nice balance between warm boba and cool drink.

Details: Milk Tea; with boba; requested no ice ; half sugar; from Wushiland Boba (pick-up delivery)
