Russian is still at home, so I took the liberty of (having my parents) driving a little out to the way to try a new-ish place, T To Tea! My friend and I continued to translate a basic version of the Ugly Duckling that we started last week.
Today’s pretty hot for some reason, even though it’s the middle of cold season. Perfect for a drink 🙂 Anyway, my mom needed to go out for a drive, so I figured we could go out together to pick up boba! I used the online order system in case it would take time, but I got the notification pretty early! Unfortunately though, since it was our first time going, we had a little trouble finding the entrance to the plaza it’s located in, but the pick was easy and fast! Because of the drive though, my dad’s expectations were high, ha.
This place is known for the cute cheese or chocolate cap art, but I’m not a huge cheese cap person, and since it was my first time trying a drink, I decided to go for a classic black milk tea to test out potential quality. Hence, the T To Tea Latte here.
The drink is really good and such a great black milk tea! It tastes like Omomo’s Black Jade Milk Tea, which I had recently, a rich and deep black milk tea. It’s somewhat creamy, and overall I was pleasantly surprised and really satisfied with the drink. Boba is pretty good, slightly stiffer than what I’ve had recently, but it’s chewy and bouncy and not hard at all. It has good, strong sweet flavor to it too! I’d come back 🙂
