Jasmine Milk Tea (#2) – 7 Leaves Cafe

I was a good citizen and cast my vote today! This was my first ever ballot, so I guess it’s somewhat of a special occasion. I spent more time looking at the languages on the ballot box which caused some people to wait…does that say anything about me? I let them go ahead though.

Actually, the drink was more impromptu, but I’ll never say no to getting one…and we decided to cheer my sister up with her favorite bloody drink, so 7 Leaves it was! Thankfully the our go-to location was open again after temporarily closing due to the fires nearby. If anyone read my last 7 Leaves post, then you’ll know that the drink I had in mind when I went next was their Jasmine Milk Tea! I had been somewhat thinking about it / craving it since the first time I had it, and my trying-the-stuff-that-interests-me-on-the-menu phase is over. I guess that widens the choice range now, but also lets me get what I want too.

The Jasmine Milk Tea is just as good as I remember it! After having multiple Jasmine Milk Teas from various places since, it solidifies that 7 Leaves’s stands out from the rest (in a particular way of course, because there are some other great Jasmine Milk Teas out there). The flavor is slightly darker but still floral-y and aromatic, and their milk tea is as creamy as ever. Boba is great today, nicely chewy, and the just the right amount of sweetness from the drink compliments the boba. A great mid-day study snack :). Time to be productive…

Oh and Happy Halloween! Boba is arguably better than most Halloween candy :). 7 Leaves had an offer for Buy One Get One 50% off if you wore a costume in store, but we were lazy and ordered on the app. Oh well.
