Thai Tea – 7 Leaves Cafe

Here’s to a hot day (not as hot as yesterday, but still plenty hot), post-workout, and last but not least, me starting my first day of school (finally, and boo-hoo)! Yes, my summer is over now, and I have officially begun my first virtual classes of the school year. Will it last all year? Will I ever go back to real school? Guess we shall see…

In the meantime, a hot day calls for a drink, so for a quick and easy option we went for 7 Leaves, as usual. If anyone has read my last 7 Leaves post, then you’ll know that I’ve been saving my favorite drink from 7 Leaves for the last official unique drink review (for now, excluding a couple non-coffee drinks). Please welcome, the Thai Tea! What better way to say goodbye to summer, and hello to 11 weeks of stu-dying than my favorite. This week may have been unfortunate for me (in a few circumstances), so I’d like to think I deserve it! 🙂 So, no agonizing over choices today! I haven’t been a fan of getting caffeinated drinks too late in the afternoon lately, but that just means I can stay up doing some homework now right…I also haven’t ordered a Thai Tea for myself in a while (as my mom pointed out), so it is refreshing in that sense too.

I’ve had 7 Leaves’s Thai Tea before, but it never fails to amaze me (then again, most of their teas are super good quality!). It has to be my favorite, if not one of them, Thai tea from any boba place. The Thai tea flavor is rich, and balances with the creaminess of the drink. It’s a classic Thai tea for me, which is one of my favorite tea flavors! Today’s boba is also nicely chewy, not that sweet on its own, but I don’t mind as much today because the drink is sweet enough to make up for it if drunk together. There’s also quite a bit!
