Today’s a hot day, which is a great occasion for boba! Or ice cream. Or both.
Today I went with the boba ice cream bar from Tiger Sugar (that’s stocked up in our freezer). Tiger Sugar is a super popular and big brand that might have started the brown sugar boba milk trend actually. Don’t quote me on that, but I think that’s the reason that brown sugar milk is also known as “Tiger” milk, for the brown and white stripes made by brown sugar syrup.
On the whole, this ice cream bar was very good! It didn’t melt too fast even though today’s pretty hot, and the flavors are nice. It is more on the milky and creamier side, and at least with the bar I had, the brown sugar syrup was more toward the bottom of the bar. The brown sugar syrup flavor was good and not too overpowering. The “boba” was a cube shape for some reason, but it was very chewy and a perfect boba texture. I wish the bar was bigger, because I finished it too fast! I do think it is slightly bigger than the bar from Xiao Mei, which I previously tried.
I shall attempt to upload pictures of my own at a later date if I remember. I just wanted to eat my ice cream today.
